1137 and his brother 1139, during deployment, were left and forgotten on a desert planet all by themselves. The two troopers discovered a Separatist weapon, due to them being left on the planet. 37 and 39 went and built a TX-130 fighter tank and destroyed the weapon with it. Their unit returned to pick them up after their miscount.
37 and 39 were later assigned to assist Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano track down R2-D2, who had gone missing. His partnership with 39 continued, due to their assignment. They were partnered up with a Clone trooper gunner and a commander. 39 thought that the two of them should be addressed by names rather than their nummerical designations. 37 did not agree with this sentiment, but the two quickly resolved it. The squad ended up crash landing on an ice planet, where they came into contact with Separatist leader Nute Gunray. 37 and the gunner distracted Gunray, the Commander and 39 subdued him.
The squad's next location was Endor in their search for R2-D2. 37 thought it was the home of the Wookiees, which caused him to retreat back into the shuttle in fear. The action drew attention to an Ewok nearby. He sought to get into contact with 39, but resulted in all of them being captured.
Taken to the natives' camp 1137 found himself with his comrades being employed as percussion instruments and 1139 being roasted. Their dilemma proved temporary as soon as Nute Gunray arrived, escorted by droids and tanks seeking vengeance for his humiliation. This intervention inadvertently allowed the troopers to flee themselves after which they quickly dispatched their foes. Dismayed by their ferocity, Gunray retook his shuttle and fled.
The squad were able to require a new mode of transportation and meet up with the Chancellor aboard a Venator-class Star Destroyer. The Chancellor was displeased with the squad's performance, as their orders were to recover R2-D2 before the Jedi. Palpatine discharged the squad from the service of the Grand Army. 37 and his squad took a beach side vacation after receiving news of this.
