Fil, also known as CC-3714, was a veteran clone trooper commander in the Grand Army of the Republic. He served under Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb during the Clone Wars. However, he was killed on the third moon of Vassek in a struggle.
History[]
In 22 BBY, Fil led troopers to the third moon of Vassek, which was located in the Outer Rim Territories. Along with Nahdar Vebb and Kit Fisto, Fil and his men searched for Nute Gunray, who had escaped from being captive by the Republic. After arriving at General Grievous' stronghold, Vebb, Fil and his squad fought with Grievous, ending with Grievous making a hasty retreat. Grievous then released Gor, which was his pet, to attack the Jedi and clones. Fil was caught when the beast grabbed him by its tail. Vebb tried to free Fil, but to no avail. Gor slammed Fil to the ground, killing him. Vebb vowed to avenge him and his squad.
Armor and Equipment[]
Fil wore Phase I clone trooper armor which was decorated in dark red with lines on his helmet and leg plates. He wore a kama, a pauldron and his helmet was equipped with dual floodlights on the sides. He used twin DC-17 blaster pistols and carried a thermal detonator.
