Colt was an Advanced Recon Commando commander who led Rancor Battalion alongside fellow ARC commanders Blitz and Havoc, and observed training on Kamino. The ARCs were a source of inspiration for the cadets, and Colt gave speeches to rouse their competitiveness.[4]
He was later stationed on Kamino when it was attacked by Separatist forces. Leading the defense of Tipoca City in the corridors, Colt fought valiantly against the invading droids until he was killed by Asajj Ventress.[5]
History
Around 22 BBY[3], Colt was on Kamino watching over squads of new clone troopers, one of them Domino Squad. He disapproved of Domino Squad because they failed and argued too much. When the final test came, he ordered Bravo Squad to go first, with Domino Squad second. He watched them fail the final test when they left Droidbait behind after he was injured, which was an automatic failure. Even though they failed the first time, they got another chance and succeeded the second time.[6]
While Colt was on Kamino, it was attacked by General Grievous and Asajj Ventress. He fought against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He was in charge of the defense and while destroying droids, was picked up by the Force, hit against the wall, and was thrown into Ventress's blood-red lightsaber.[5]
Personality and Traits
Formed by the hard training courses on Kamino, Colt was formed into an ideal trooper. An expert in both aquatic and ground missions, he was a fierce trooper and always got the job done. Colt was a "no-nonsense" leader and did not accept failure for an answer.[7]
Armor and Equipment
Colt was one of the ARC troopers to wear experimental Phase II ARC trooper armor, a pauldron and kama. His armor was stylized with red and black markings. He wore a backpack and additional pouches of ammunition across his body. In combat, his weapon of preference was a DC-15S blaster carbine, though he also carried DC-17 hand blasters in his holsters.[5]

Other
In the original scene of Colt's death in "ARC Troopers, Asajj Ventress kisses Colt before impaling him. Perhaps due to its sadistic nature, it was not shown on live TV, but was still featured on the episodes in the DVD and Blu-Ray editions.[8]
