"Shadow Five" was the callsign of a clone pilot in Shadow Squadron during the Clone Wars. He participated in the Battle of Kadavo against the Separatists, who were going to destroy all the people on Kadavo. He was killed by Separatist fire, along with his fellow pilot, Shadow Three.
History[]
Sometime during the Clone Wars, Shadow Squadron received a mission to help liberate the slaves being held captive by the Zygerrians on Kadavo. Shadow Squadron, along with other troopers and Republic cruisers, flew to this planet. All the forces remained in space below as Captain Rex and Jedi Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano performed a covert mission on the surface below.
While waiting to hear from the Jedi and clone, a group of CIS cruisers appeared out of hyperspace, coming to destroy the Zygerrians and the slaves. The Republic saw them arriving and launched volleys of fighters against them. The V-19 Torrent pilots and ARC-170 pilots attacked the Vulture droids. While battling, Shadow Five told Shadow Three to stay close to him, and he would destroy the fighters. Then Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress and a group of Hyena-class droid bombers attacked the planet and clones and both Shadow Five and Shadow Three were killed. Eventually, the Republic won and the slaves were liberated with the Confederacy being destroyed.
