Squad Seven was a small group of specialists created by Advanced Recon Commando Alpha-17. It was, co-lead, by several high ranking troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, including Major Jorir and Marshal Commander Cody.
History[]
The squad contained cross-trained Commanders, Pilots, SCUBA troopers, marines, demolitions experts and marksmen. The squad generally accompanied Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi on several different occasions.
In 19 BBY, 31 months after the First Battle of Geonosis, Squad Seven was deployed to the Battle of Boz Pity.[1] The squad fought at the battle, taking casualties, especially once General Grievous showed up. Grievous killed Jedi Generals Adi Gallia and Soon Bayts, as well as impaling Alpha-17, paralyzing him.[1]
Later in the year, during the Battle of Cato Neimoidia, the squad assisted Jedi General Kenobi in his assault on Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray's redoubt.[2] With their help, Kenobi was able to apprehend Gunray's mechno-chair, which possessed a holographic projector, with a message from Darth Sidous to Gunray. Captain Rex helped lead the assault.[2]
Squad Seven also served at the Battle of Coruscant, where they took out several Vulture droids and Tri-fighter droids. Commander Odd Ball led his subdivision, Clone Flight Squad Seven, on the mission.[3]

Clone Flight Squad Seven was one of the most experienced starfighter squadrons in the Open Circle Fleet. The unit was led by Commander Odd Ball. The unit possessed Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighters and Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighters.

Armor and Equipment[]
Squad Seven possessed DC-15S blaster carbines and Phase II armor, as well as several specialist armors, including SCUBA and marines. The troopers also possessed a variety of snipers and heavy weapons. Since Clone Flight Squad Seven was apart of the unit, they also possessed Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter and Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighters.[3]
