Ringo was the name of a clone trooper in the 501st Legion that went to Umbara and was under the command of General Pong Krell for a while.
History[]
Ereesus[]
In 21 BBY, Ringo and Torrent Company were dispatched to defend the planet Ereesus against the Separatists invasion. During the battle, Oz and several other clones were captured. Rex, Ringo, and other clones were able to find the location of the captured troops with some help from the local militia, and rescued them afterward.
Umbara[]
In 21 BBY, Umbara's senator was assassinated. Due to this, the planet broke away from the Republic, and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The 501st Legion was one of the units sent to reclaim it! and they were able to land on the Umbaran grounds and defeat many Umbarans. However, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, who was leading them, was called back to Coruscant, and General Pong Krell took over command.
While under the command of Krell, the clones were sent to capture the capital in a suicidal way; to march directly up the main road. While they were marching, Ringo and his fellow trooper, Oz, stepped on land mines and were killed by the blast. Umbarans attacked them, and the 501st got off the road.
