Rys was a clone trooper born on Kamino in 32 BBY. He served during the Clone Wars in the Coruscant Guard.
History[]
Rys on Rugosa
Rys was assigned to a mission with Jedi Master Yoda to attempt peace talks with the Toydarian government. Rys was disappointed with the mission, as he had wanted to go to the front lines, and fight with his brothers.[1]
He joined the convoy that protected Jedi Grandmaster Yoda to negotiate with the Toydarian government on whether or not Toydaria will join the Republic or Confederacy.[2] There was a battle on the moon between Confederate droids and the three troops of the convoy. Thire was injured in the battle and forced the men to retreat.[2] The Toydarians declared that they would join the Republic after Yoda and the clones were able to defeat Ventress' Separatist forces.
Personality and Traits[]
Rys, as Yoda described him was "very focused on the enemy" and a very loyal soldier. Rys did not have much self confidence and Yoda suggested "for inspiration look to yourself, and those besides you." He felt very unsure like the other clones about surviving the battle. Rys was equipped with a DC-15S blaster carbine and carried a backpack which had thermal detonators and miscellaneous supplies such as first aid and food. He also had a tattoo on his neck and jaw.
Armor and Equipment[]

Rys wore Phase I clone trooper armor and used a DC-15S blaster carbine in combat. His armor had red stripes and emblems signaling his affiliation with the Coruscant Guard. It was marked with damage and wear from combat. He also carried a Republic backpack to store extra equipment.
