The commando was apart of the High Orbit Precision Entry Squad, also known as H.O.P.E. Squad.[3] The squad survived till 19 BBY, the final year of the Clone Wars before being deployed on their first recorded mission. H.O.P.E. came in through escape pods, which broke open upon entry. The commando and his squad glided in on combat umbrellas. The commando was second behind the squad's sergeant when they landed.[3] The squad destroyed the spider droids that had attacked them with ease. The squad located their objective, finding Jedi Master Treetower, they deployed underneath the platform to rescue Treetower.[3] The commandos were attacked by jump droids, which killed two of the commandos immediately. This commando was killed very soon after. The squad's mission was finished by the sergeant and Treetower.[3] The commando was most likely the squad's sniper, as he brandished macro-binoculars as did another sniper in another clone commando squad.
